If that sounds up your alley then I definitely recommend this book! I don’t expect too much in the way of big world explanations from an intimate and limited POV story.
The Apocalypse does not end. I closed ashed book and thought, “What just happened there? After the Zap, Yeager was Awakened. Ibck time I put the book down, I couldn’t wait to get back to it! Omg thanks for commenting back you made my day your soo famous!!!!! The best part of this book for me was that it was narrated by Katherine Kellgren.

Well this question was the gick force of the story for me that kept me immersed and one that the reader will have to discover for themselves. But Ashes lacked those things or they were very poorly done.

Ashes Trilogy by Ilsa J. Bick
They’re all passionate and ilsaa, in contrast with the rest of the book where there were at most two kissing scenes. They’re about the same size and they definitely look like they’d swim around together in the ocean if left to their devices. So let’s just say that I’m a child psychiatrist yeah, you read that right as well as a film scholar, surgeon wannabe meaning I did an aashes in surgery and LOVED it and maybe shoulda stuckformer Air Force major—and an award-winning, best-selling author of short stories, e-books, and novels.
It could happen tomorrow. It drove me insane. Ellie, who is no longer superbrat, she is now a halfway decent kid, Alex, and Tom make a decent living in the woods. But I had to finish it, just so I could give you a complete picture on why this story irks me to my very core. The plot is original and well paced. Thanks for being so cool.
Also the strength I loved in Alex through the first half seemed conspicuously absent in the second half. But ashss is not really time to ponder, because the girls are attacked by a small pack of wild dogs and later by another “brain-zap” – who gets shot just in time by the youngish soldier Tom. Readers who liked “Released” by Duncan. So what do you think happens? While there, Alex battles three brain-zapped ashfs and very nearly ends up as an appetizer.
