I enjoy these books because they get into the process a bit more than I do on the blog here most of the time. That book was the first place I saw MIG powders. Phil and Mark go over how to super detail your kits, adding a ton of extra goodies using items that many people have laying around the house.

The guides are very clearly written and should prove easy to follow. I did enjoy the section on how they kitbashed the tank tread bot with the crane arm you see on the front cover. I want to start airbrushing in the future and maybe incorporate foregworld into my work as well.

Maybe they figure new people will only buy vol 2 from now on. Fast paced is not what I would call it and that’s a good thing. I picked up one of these at Adepticon.
