I did not read the previous two books. When sparks begin to fly and Elias is informed by Vicki to run a background check on him chaos is unleashed. As far as personal reading preference goes, I must say I liked this story much more.
Elias, Vicki and Jesse struggle to define the situation they find themselves in and determine if they can all live and meet the needs of each other.

The two of them are passionate, both in and out of bed, so Jesse as a calming influence is a good thing. Yours to Take Embed. I want to know more about them. I was also intrigued by how well the burkharh worked through the issues of two very much heterosexual men getting down and dirty with each other.

The ending did not satisfy me, even though it was unbelievably steamy and they all had me going gaga and I was sorts kinda hatin’ on Vicki The writing by Burkhart is incredible, it’s vivid, beautiful, and unique. I loved the first two books about the connaghers.
Vicky learns that while she loves Elias, she needs more. The first thing that stands out in this book is that Ms. Yours to Take is emotionally gripping and at times uncomfortable, but not in a bad way, if that makes sense.
Jesse was a mainstay at the park she frequented when things got a little rough in the courtroom. Their inability to give in to each other makes a tumultuous relationship. And while it seems like a decent number of words are burkhwrt on him, he’s really not that well developed.
