This is not merely because of the obvious decline in her political fortunes but because there is currently a churning in the Dalit movement, especially amongst educated youth not just in U. The only shortcoming is the author could have left out some minutest details of election statistics and thus reduced the expanse of the book, this could have made the reading more enjoyable.
