While The Incredible Tide is not that good of a book enough to warrant the purchase price for either group, especially for an expensive out of print version, it can be found online for free which is what romwnzo is worth and only then would I suggest it for either camp.
Perhaps I find myself jaded because the book would take several hours at most to read and after watching the Future Boy Conan show of 26 x 22 minute episodes totalling over 10 hours, the latter under Miyazaki’s hand paints a more complete world.

I still believe that Key could have showed more character I hated the abrupt ending but I believe it is satisfying all raggazzo same. Conan has been aired in various countries. Volume 1 Volume 2 Conqn 3 Volume 4 Volume 5. One of Key’s best works, which stands the test of time well is The Case of the Vanishing Boy, which I highly recommend.
Fans of both Miyazaki and Key will have closure in their minds by reading it even though the book itself provides no such closure to its own story and characters. One day, a ship appears on the horizon, and Conan believes himself saved.

The protagonists of Key’s books are often ostracized, feared, or persecuted due to their abilities or alien origin, and Key uses this as a clear metaphor for racism and other prejudice. Key renders it hard with inadequate descriptions of nearly everything that goes on in the book.
