Great resource for a very thorough study of Romans. It is a deep, rich commentary meant to dissect every meaning of every significant word and phrase in this glorious book. St Mark’s National Theological Centre.

Originally written for fhe Wycliffe Exegetical Commentary series, this work has been substantially expanded and adapted for the NICNT series; it now treats the entire book of Romans rather than the first half. In addition, there were a few more challenging and possibly controversial passages in Romans, where I hoped to be enlightened, and these were the most disappointing. Like the other entries in this series of commentaries, this volume is extremely scholarly in scope and approach, but a wealth of knowledge and expertise that would supplement any serious study of Romans.
